(28.03.2024) Wir organisieren in der Woche des 15. Mai, dem „Internationalen Tag der Kriegsdienstverweigerung“ – vom 13. bis zum 19. Mai 2024 – Kundgebungen und Demonstrationen vor Regierungseinrichtungen von kriegführenden Staaten, Mahnwachen vor Denkmälern für Deserteur*innen und weitere kreative Aktionen an verschiedenen Orten. Wir betonen dabei: Kriegsdienstverweigerung ist ein Menschenrecht!

To Movement of Conscientious Objection Russia, Nash Dom, Asya Maruket and Ukrainian Pacifist Movement

(22.03.2024) Today the Seán MacBride Peace Prize of the International Peace Bureau was awarded to Saša Belik for the Movement of Conscientious Objection Russia, Olga Karach for Nash Dom, Asya Maruket and Yurii Sheliazhenko and his organisation Ukrainian Pacifist Movement. “I am very happy to be here today to honour all these significant and important peace activists”, said Rudi Friedrich from Connection e.V. in his laudatory speech. Another laudatory speech was given by Alexia Tsouni, president of European Bureau of Conscientious Objection.

(22.03.2024) Today the Seán MacBride Peace Prize of the International Peace Bureau was awarded to Saša Belik for the Movement of Conscientious Objection Russia, Olga Karach for Nash Dom, Asya Maruket and Yurii Sheliazhenko and his organisation Ukrainian Pacifist Movement. “I am so happy to honour such distinguished personalities, such powerful activists committed to peace and the human right to conscientious objection to military service, especially in wartime!”, said Alexia Tsouni in hier laudatory speech. Jubiläum gemeinsam mit der War Resisters‘ International (WRI) und Connection e.V. zu einer dreitägigen, internationalen Konferenz ein. Die Broschüre dokumentiert die Konferenz mit Beiträgen zu Südkorea, Thailand, Japan, Israel, Türkei, Russland, Ukraine, zur #ObjectWarCampaign und zu internationalem Recht zur Kriegsdienstverweigerung.
